Dashboards

Build custom views of your test data. Pin the insights you care about for a project, squad, release, or quality focus.

What you can do

• Create dashboards with a name and an optional description
• Add insights from the catalog or save a chart from AI Studio
• Arrange insights on a grid. Drag, resize, then save the layout
• Rename or delete a dashboard you created

Home and Insights

Home stays on the Home page. The Dashboards list does not show Home.

The list includes the Insights dashboard. Insights shows org-wide quality KPIs.

Create a dashboard

1. Open Dashboards in the portal.
2. Select Create dashboard.
3. Enter a name.
4. Enter an optional description.
5. Select Create.

TestBeats opens the new dashboard. It starts empty.

Add insights

1. Open the dashboard.
2. Select Edit layout or Add Insights.
3. Choose an insight from the catalog.
4. Select Add.
5. Drag and resize insights as needed.
6. Select Save.

Save from AI Studio

1. Open AI Studio and ask for a chart, table, or stat.
2. On the result, select Save Insight.
3. Open the dashboard where you want it.
4. Follow Add insights and choose the saved insight from the catalog.

The insight stays on the dashboard and runs again when you open it.

Rename or delete

1. Open the dashboard.
2. Open the options menu.
3. Choose one of the following:
   • Select Rename to change the name or description.
   • Select Delete to remove the dashboard.

You can rename or delete only dashboards you created. You cannot rename or delete Insights.
