Writing Pulse Instructions

Instructions tell the AI what to report on Portal automation data — plain language, no code. The Description field is for your team only and is not sent to the AI.

Tips

• Time range — e.g. "last 7 days", "this week vs last week"
• Scope — name the project when your org has several
• Format — ask for a summary, table, chart, or combination
• One deliverable per pulse — split complex reporting into separate pulses
• Charts and tables — mention "chart" or "table" in instructions when you want them

Examples

Copy and adapt:

• Weekly pass rate compared to the previous week
• Pass and fail counts by day for the last 30 days
• Top flaky tests from the last 14 days
• Compare pass rates across test suites for the last 7 days
• Pass rates by environment for the last 7 days
